The desktop app records without a browser tab in the way. A small control panel floats over your work — record, watch the level, stop — and it never appears in the take.

It cuts the dead air
Silences longer than a beat, and the “um”s and “uh”s, come out automatically. A two minute ramble becomes ninety tight seconds, and every timestamp in the article follows the edit.
The camera follows you
Where your cursor travels and settles, the frame drifts in and holds — then eases back out. No keyframes, no timeline: the movement comes from how you actually used the screen.
The panel stays out of frame
macOS content protection keeps the control panel out of the recording, so you can watch the clock and the mic level without any of it landing in the published video.
First launch
The app is signed but not yet notarized by Apple, so the first launch needs a right-click on Screenplay in Applications, then Open. macOS will also ask for Screen Recording and Microphone permission — both are required to record anything at all.
